What colour should I paint my room?
Take a look at a color wheel. You can have a light color and an accent color so you and your parents are satisfied. Purples are good for relaxation. I would go with a purple. The darker you go the more light you will need in the room. You could even have one wall the dark color you want and have the other walls a lighter version. Be inspired. What things make you happy? Paint a color of your favorite flower or cd cover. You may even get a darker color (if that is what you want) by making your parents feel included 
10 months ago 1 person rated this as good Thankss.. I have decided that I will paint the largest wall the darker purple and the other 3 walls lilac and the ceiling will stay white:) But you never know, I might end up changing my mind AGAIN:L
